PBR and Stylized
I did this leather material more as an excuse to get back into Designer. I started making it PBR realistic, then I tried to adjust the parameters and the noises to make a more stylized variation as well.
I also tried to make some versions with procedural folds.
What started as a simple material study quickly became a Houdini cloth simulation exercise as well, I’ll probably post some of the results I got in another project.
The mesh used in the first 2 renders it’s a plane sculpted in Blender using the new cloth brush.
