Hero Asset I made for the “The Last of London” group project I worked on during my second year of University.
High Poly model of Eros was sculpted by a university peer.

The whole asset took me 5 weeks to complete, it was quite a challenge but also an opportunity to push my skills to my limits.
I learned so much working on it, I definitely improved in getting proportions right and sculpting in ZBrush.
I now feel more confident in the way I approach new assets and in my workflow in general.
I learned Substance Designer to create the materials myself and made the textures in Painter.
I spent a lot of time retopologizing the high poly models, it was a lot of work but a really good exercise. However I could have optimized the meshes more reducing the polycount, but I was running out of time and the automatic LODs in Unreal were doing a really good job.
I could also have used less textures sets but since it was the Hero Asset I decided to be more generous.
